I am a Yoga Teacher (RYT® 200), Barre Instructor, Soft-Tissue Therapist (SMA Accredited) and lover of holistic nutrition.
I empower health and well-being for everyone through tools to enhance energy, strength, balance and release to the physical body, mindset and spirit. In our experience of injury, pain, illness, unease is a vital lesson and opportunity, to re-condition our body and mind more to be stronger and more balanced than before, using the correct tools.
I share a lifelong passion for sport and dance through training in R.A.D classical ballet, distance running, triathlon and yoga from 5 years of age to today. I believe in the human body’s ability to heal itself, and in yoga, exercise, therapies and nutrition as medicine for wellness.
My experience includes 15 years in bodywork including my own clinic within Triyoga Camden, London; with professional athletes at the PGA, Commonwealth Games 2014, Fiji Rugby at Rugby World Cup 2015, University of Edinburgh triathlon team; with everyday athletes and active people; paediatrics; cancer patients and the elderly. Parallel to clinical practice, I worked for 10 years in academia as a university lecturer and researcher in Rehabilitation Sciences publishing original research in Joint Hypermobility Syndrome.
The detail in my treatments and classes stems from my *academic studies which underpin and inform the techniques, style and sequences in my applied work.
*BSc (Hons) Sport Science and Health, DCU, Ireland; MSc (Med-Sci) Sport and Exercise Science and Medicine, University of Glasgow; MPhil, University of Edinburgh.
