November 2025 ♥ St Monans ~ Yoga and Barre classes in St Andrews & Crail Barre class has resumed at beautiful Crail Community Hall on Tuesdays 17:00-18:00 Join me to practice in a small group, high vibration Barre class where we move and breathe through ballet inspired exercise sets to strengthen and condition legs, gluteals (bottom), arms, core, posture, balance, heart and lungs and frame of mind. Complementing this class experience is the physical space with a smooth, clean wooden floor, high ceilings, my professional Harlequin ballet Bares made of beech wood and aluminium to allow us the very best in alignment. Class begins with a dynamic standing warm up to prepare the body and closes with deep releasing stretches and pure grade doTERRA essential oils. Ladies & gents from 16 to 106 years are welcome, teens, athletes, runners, golfers, those rehabilitating injuries - this includes me! In January 2026 - semester 2, I will resume teaching Thursday evening Hatha Yoga Flow class at Saints Sport the University of St Andrews gym. The rest of my classes are TBC. ~ Massage Treatments in St Monans, East Neuk of Fife Come to rest and be nourished during a 60-minute or 90-minute massage treatment - a pause for self-care, to soothe physical, postural and mental aches and pains; to get biofeedback from your body-mind; to let go, decompress and heal with a treatment designed specifically for you from my 21 years experience and 5 diplomas in bodywork and professional accreditation with the Sports Massage Association UK Using organic and vegan Ishga Invigorating Massage Oil made in Isle of Lewis, Scotland with Hebridean seaweed extract, jojoba and sweet almond oils, signature essential oils of lavender, rose geranium, juniper and lemongrass in a humble yet peaceful space infused with Ishga Aura candle laying on a luxury heated blanket on my original massage plinth handmade using leather and wood by a carpenter in Dublin circa 2004. I share available massage appointment times with you below. ~ Yesterday was All Soul's Day meaning November is here. I am blessed, through my work, to continue to touch humanity, to hold space for shared passions and pains and to assist healing including: intimacy in a lady showing me her 7 day old scars following surgery for breast cancer; sadness of a young lady caring for her Mum in palliative care working night shifts to be with her through day times in her final days before she died; visiting a former client at home in the winter of his life and the delight of clients triumphing in their sporting events including world coastal rowing champions, first ever 5 km runs to expeditions to climb mountains in Nepal to Ironman 70.3. Thank you for your compassion following my accident at the end of August and the instant influx of messages I received from you. I shed tears of surprise and surrender reading them while sitting in a rocking chair at my Mum's home in Co Wicklow, Ireland where I had used my final shred of strength to go to as a refuge of sorts after returning from Italy alone to an empty flat. As romantic and lovely as Ireland is I was only there for one week where I was lucky to receive essential private physio and acupuncture, my stitches removed, walks to my Dad's resting place, some night caps of Graham Norton prosecco - I know alcohol is dehydrating, pro-inflammatory and a depressant but it was a little medicinal in a time I could do very little. I have worked carefully to reschedule all clients whose September 2025 massage appointments had to be cancelled. If I missed you - please forgive me AND please send me message via email: therapybyalicemooney@gmail.com or 07388216620 so it moves to the top of my list. As one of my biggest fears happened - being ill / injured to the point of being unable to work when I am self-employed and one-woman team, I am working on redesigning how I work with the help of a coach. I miss working both on a team and from a professional space A LOT. Peace and love to you, Alice x |
